Bulletproof Coffee + CBD Recipe

Patiently wait at the end of a Starbucks counter for a few minutes and upon hearing a litany of "two pumps of vanilla, no soy, hold the whip" orders yelled out, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that how people take their coffee is vastly different and very personal.

I first began drinking coffee my senior year of college when pulling all-nighters for my accounting degree. Back then I pretty much drank what I now call "brown bean water" from the gas station and added an ungodly amount of cream and artificial sugar in order to consume it.

Today, I'm self-proclaimed coffee snob coffee and now take it black, with coconut milk or Bulletproof style.

Bulletproof coffee is still a somewhat new concept to most, but the general gist of it is combining healthy fats to caffeine by blending the bejesus out of it for a calorically dense must-have drink that fuels your brain and your body for hours on end.

So what are the benefits of drinking Bulletproof coffee?

Bulletproof Recipe:

  • 1 tbsp MCT coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsp Kerrygold unsalted grass fed butter
  • 2-4 cups of your favorite coffee
